Manufactured homes offer many buyer’s an alternative to expensive rental homes, townhomes or apartment. While you will have a pad rental fee, it should always be much less than renting a home or apartment. Most parks allow you to landscape and fence your pad area. Some parks have beautiful mature landscaping. Some parks also allow pets, some don’t. It’s best to check the rules of each park. ALSO most importantly if your require to put a mortgage on your manufactured home, some parks will not sign a Bank’s site-lease document... without a site-lease you won’t be able to put traditional mortgage financing in place.
